Soft Plastic Recycling @ Kankakee Farmer’s Market

Every Saturday at the Kankakee Farmer’s Market. Look for the Rotary Booth or the drop-box at the market’s info booth.

The Kankakee Rotary Club is accepting soft plastics for our recycling program. The plastic we are collecting is part of the NexTrex recycling challenge. This program not only offers our community a chance to recycle plastics to help protect the environment, it also helps the Rotary Club reach a goal of 1,000 lbs. donated. When we reach that milestone, we will receive a bench donation. For every $250 after that, we get one entry for a chance at winning another bench.
